Since its foundation in 1984, GETINSA has participated actively in different plans and programmes to modernise Spain’s road network over the last 20 years: I Roads Plan, PAPCA, Infrastructures Master Plan, Transport Infrastructure Plan, Highway Programmes, etc.
The significant experience gained by GETINSA allows the firm to collaborate in the entire design process of an infrastructure, from planning (more than 2,500 kilometres of corridors and alternatives have been analysed through information and feasibility studies) and design (more than 1,000 kilometres of highways and conventional roads have been projected) to construction control and monitoring (GETINSA has participated in more than 50 road works).
GETINSA has also participated in large road construction projects in different countries (Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Afghanistan, Mexico, etc.) commissioned by the major international bodies (World Bank, IDB, ADB, etc.).
