Although GETINSA has participated in railway projects since its creation, in the year 2000 it began to work more specifically and intensively on Railway Installations, mainly in the management, supervision and surveillance of projects and work on Railway installations, such as:
- Traction substations (2x25 KV and 1x25 KV). Overhead contact line.
- Signalling and Train Protection Installations (ASFA, LZB, ERTMS N1 and N2, etc..).
- The telecommunications system (optic fibre, transport and access networks, voice and data networks, etc…).
- GSM-R mobile radio system and installations for public mobile telephony operators.
- Auxiliary detection systems for assisting operations: Sensor network and remote control of detectors (Fallen obstacles, Detectors of hot boxes, etc…).
- Centralised Traffic Control (CTC), Centres for Regulation and Control (CRC) and the integration of components.
- Energy distribution systems for railway consumers and remote control of energy.
- Technical buildings and associated components.
Throughout these years, an important, highly specialised team has been consolidated and this has enabled us to work on the main high speed lines being built in Spain.
