GETINSA R + D Department was created in order to deal with under-researched problems and technical aspects with limited bibliography and documentation. GETINSA is currently working on the following projects:

• Tunnel modelling and instrumentation systems for construction, operating and maintenance management.
• Earth fill and cutting modelling and instrumentation systems for construction, operating and maintenance management.
• Railway platform modelling and instrumentation systems for construction, operating and maintenance management.
• Development of a computerised works management system.
• Prevention and security measures system for underground works’ construction and operation.
• High-resistance concrete and self-compacting concrete.
